EPUAP Research Project Collaboration Funding

bandage-icon-blue

The EPUAP Scientific Committee launches its first call for Research Project Collaboration Funding. There are opportunities to underpin high quality research through the development of agreed standards and language with clear publication outputs or to pump prime future collaborative funding bids. The funding is not for direct research costs, but rather costs to facilitate face-to-face meetings of collaborators from EU member and associated countries. For this first call, EPUAP proposes to allocate a maximum of €10k over 1-3 years to cover expenses for face-to-face meetings (i.e. travel, accommodation and venue costs). The funding is available only for EPUAP members. The funded project lead will be invited to attend as an invited speaker or be requested to submit an abstract about the research and collaboration covered by EPUAP for a free paper session for at least one EPUAP annual meeting.

The submission form is described below. The applications should be sent to office@epuap.org before December 1st 2017.

The EPUAP Scientific Committee launches its first call for exchange scholarships for students in the context of “emerging pressure ulcer research”. The aim is to provide opportunities for PhD or early post-doc students exchanges between high quality laboratories and clinical academic teams working in the field of pressure ulcer management and prevention. Interdisciplinary works should be encouraged. Funding will be awarded to cover travel and subsistence (some research costs may be permitted) and spend one to four weeks in another clinical/research structure that is based in a EU member country or associated country, with the objective to learn a specific experimental technique or methodological approach. 1k€ to 3k€ will be allocated to each student, depending on the time spent in the host institution. The funding is available only for EPUAP members. The funded student will be requested to submit an abstract about the research and collaboration covered by EPUAP for the students free paper session during the EPUAP annual meeting.

The submission form is described below. The applications should be sent to office@epuap.org before December 1st 2017.
