As an authority that leads pressure ulcer research in Europe as well as internationally, the EPUAP has decided to recognize leadership and contributions to pressure ulcer research by awarding two prizes each year at its annual meeting:
Both prizes can be awarded for either basic science or clinical science achievements, and they reflect accomplishments that clearly contributed to advancing the field. The prizes will be awarded by the President of EPUAP at the Annual Conference Dinner.

This is a condition for receiving the award. Each talk should be approximately 25 minutes. The EPUAP will cover travels from/to a European destination, conference registration and accommodation of laureates.
